THUMB TENDONITIS
Thumb tendonitis, sometimes also called DeQuervain's Tendonitis, occurs when the tendons to the thumb become inflamed from overuse.

Pain often occurs on the thumb side of the wrist with any thumb motion.
​
Non-operative options include:
Rest, ice and anti-inflammatories
Wrist splinting
Steroid injection
​
Operative options include:
Tendon sheath release and tendon debridement
