Phalanx fractures can occur after trauma. They often present with pain and swelling.

Treatment is dependent on multiple factors that can be evaluated in the office with x-rays and physical examination

Non-operative treatment options:
Buddy taping and early motion therapy
Splinting or casting

Operative treatment options:
Pinning or plating of bones
​
