DUPUYTREN'S CONTRACTURE RELEASE
During a Dupuytren's Contracture Release, an incision is made along the finger and the thickened tissue beneath the skin is incised. The finger is made as straight as possible and then the skin is closed.

Motion therapy for the hand is started within the week and a night splint is worn for 4-6 weeks. Results vary depend on how contracted the finger is before surgery.
